Ossoff and Warnock should do a rebuttal directly after Trump gives his “speech”

Charlie's avatar

They should do a PREbuttal. And they should have figured that out.

We've all been forewarned. The Red Scare has been floated several times recently.

I wish a few Dems at least could have worked together on a sarcastic offensive.

I think this is an excellent idea.

Unfortunately, the press being what it is, would not allow it.

And bring up the 2024 election that included some new counties and population numbers

Steve Doll's avatar

Good idea, but who will cover it? Not ElliSon-OB or Weiss-ass, that's for sure.

The Republicans are cowards they privately know he’s no good but they won’t speak up just cowards. Remember that an election time vote them all out.

Edie Sadowski's avatar

Vote out the garbage 🗑 in November 💙

The Republican "Party" lost it years ago. Trump is simply a reflection of their cultish behaviour and cowardice.

They got steadily worse starting with Reagan

I don't believe for a minute Kamala lost the 2024 election. For Donnie to win ALL the swing states and then to publicly announce Elon "helped" him win - well, what other proof did we need to contest it??

Patrick's avatar

Well they need to admit to everyone that he is incapable of governing the country and he's a threat to himself and others That's when it makes a difference!

Sharon's avatar

In the world of education, if you are a threat to yourself and others, legal steps need to be taken so those threats do not become reality.

Patrick's avatar

Yeah that was my point of posting that.

Kelly Rundel's avatar

When was he ever capable of running the country…

Pat Robinson's avatar

My thoughts exactly!

Enough of the privately admitted stuff. Come out in public. Your quietness is cowardice

3 million a day for national guard in DC for WHAT and he has extended it thru inauguration 2029 ?! What emergency??

Milret2's avatar

He is trying to build a private Army that works only for him and his allies. He wants each state to send five hundred soldiers to protect him and his works. As a twenty two year army medical person retired for many years I have opinions and I recognize free speech. America had work to do!!

The men who were gunned down this week had more moral clarity and backbone than any of these cowards .

Karen Ashikeh LaMantia's avatar

Republicans who know these faults and the needs they do not fill, need to find their own courage and impeach the man and take out the Cabinet and the VP, those tasked with enforcement of the 24th Ammendment - unable to perform the duties of office. Yes they are guilty of the same offense, too, for not envoking this protection from his incompetence, sicknees, disability or illness. Trump can step aside from ALL decision making and let others pick his Cabinet and Administration, but his decisions are killing us and them, the world economy and international co-operation on many fronts, including the environment. Take action you Cabinet of Cowards!

Jeanelle Taylor's avatar

Well, I’m relieved that that republicans in charge of the Trump administration are finally willing to admit that DJTrump is completely insane and that he needs to be removed from Our federal Government immediately along with his entire administration!!!!

Pat Robinson's avatar

But they are not admitting it and they are not doing anything about it. Saying it in private is meaningless.

Pat Robinson's avatar

While it is "nice" to hear that privately some, most or all Republicans think trump has "lost it" that is somewhat meaningless since they continue to do his bidding and in public praise him as the smartest president we have ever had. It's like Susan Collins claiming to be a moderate when in fact she is a die hard trump supporter, loves ICE having no constraints and has no respect for the rule of law or the epstein victims, or fetterman claiming to be a democrat.. except they do their deceiving in public while these alleged member of congress who think trump has lost it (which how could they not????) are such cowards they do it in private.

Polly Sears's avatar

And on it goes. Some democrats are saying Republicans are very upset, if so- where are they? And, when will they find the strength to say it out loud?

Connie Sherman's avatar

We have to ignore what they say, and watch what they DO!! That will tell the whole truth.
