URGENT Update From Really American Founder
This morning, the President of the United States had a meltdown in front of the entire NATO alliance and the world.
Trump landed at the summit, declared his own Iran ceasefire dead, and called Tehran’s leaders “scum” while oil shot past $78 a barrel.
I’ll tell you about that in a moment.
But first: I can see that you’ve been opening and reading our newsletters. You clearly value this work. You just haven’t taken the leap to become a paying subscriber yet.
Today is the day that has to change.
Really American is behind on our fundraising goals right now. The only way we close that gap is if readers like you, the ones already opening and reading every morning, step up and become paying subscribers today.
Really American exists for one reason: to counter oligarch-controlled media. We were created as a direct response to billionaires buying up the free press and deciding what you’re allowed to know. We don’t answer to corporate boards. We don’t rely on billionaire owners who dine at Mar-a-Lago. We answer to you. Only you.

Now, here’s what happened this morning.
Standing in front of the entire alliance in Ankara, Trump torched the ceasefire he spent last month bragging about, calling Iran’s leaders “scum” hours after the two countries traded more than 80 strikes.
Then he ordered the United States to cut off all trade with Spain, a NATO ally, on live television, because they wouldn’t help him bomb Iran.
He revived his old demand to seize Greenland, and Denmark’s prime minister looked straight at the cameras and invoked Article 5, NATO’s promise that an attack on one member is an attack on all.
And here’s the part that should worry you most. Trump told the world that “the Islamic Republic of Japan” fired 111 missiles at a U.S. aircraft carrier. Minutes later he turned to the room and asked for a question for “President Putin,” while Volodymyr Zelensky sat right next to him.
That’s it. This is the man deciding right now whether to restart a war in the Middle East. He doesn’t know which country attacked us. He doesn’t know which leader is sitting next to him.
This is exactly what oligarch media will soften for you.
Bezos owns the Post. The Ellisons control CBS and CNN, with Bari Weiss calling the editorial shots. Murdoch runs Fox and just moved to swallow Roku. This isn’t coincidence. It’s consolidation. Concentrate media ownership. Intimidate independent voices. Control the narrative.
Independent media can’t compete with oligarch billions on reach alone. We compete by being unbuyable.
But unbuyable only works if readers like you fund it.
You’ve been reading for free. Today is the day that changes.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for refusing to accept oligarch media as the only option. And if you can, thank you for investing in the independent press that America needs to survive.
