I think a lot of Americans are seeing the price of gas have a much larger impact. Many many drive more than "average" as "average" may include retired folks who don't drive much. If you have a 20 gallon tank and have to fill up 3 times a month that would be an extra $60 a month or obviously, $720 a year and for many folks that's a month's worth of groceries at pre war, pre tariff prices. And then there are the hidden costs in that so much else costs more because truckers and airlines have to charge more to transport the goods we buy. We have to continually remind voters that this is what trump and the GOP officials they voted for want for them.
